ABOUT LAURA
I'm a Luxury Travel Concierge & Stylist, with experience in the luxury fashion industry and a lifetime of travel. Based in New York City, I spent over a decade in ecommerce marketing roles at Shopbop, Net-A-Porter, and Bloomingdale's — most recently as Head of Ecommerce at Shopbop.
Long before launching my business, my experience living in Paris, traveling to over 30 countries, and posting from my personal adventures made me a go-to resource for everyone in my network looking for the inside scoop on cool new destinations, restaurants, spas, and more. Paired with my fashion expertise, it makes me uniquely suited to curate both travel itineraries and style edits — for trips and everyday occasions. I love translating my discoveries into client itineraries, and my world travels inform my styling POV, whether I'm recommending the perfect looks for Morocco or just helping you get dressed for everyday with a little extra flair.
My travel and styling business offers clients itinerary planning and wardrobe curation, leveraging my expertise to help clients optimize every aspect of their travel experience. With my high standards and a love of research and curation, I'll plan your next trip —and the accompanying wardrobe— like it was my own.
A little more about Laura…
What is your favorite hotel?
A recent favorite is Al Moudira in Luxor, Egypt, but the Ritz Paris is a forever classic.
What is next on your travel wish list?
I am dying to explore Biarritz and the west coast of France; Mendoza, Argentina; and I can’t wait to go back to Africa for another Safari - maybe Botswana next. But this is just a sampling - the wish list is very long!
What is your favorite destination to style?
I love anywhere that is multi-faceted, like a trip to France or Italy that includes chic city dressing and beach-day resort looks. I like the challenge of making that work all in one suitcase! Copenhagen style can be very playful which is also fun to dress for and lean into.
Where do you get style inspiration?
I love people watching and seeing how the locals dress in stylish cities like New York, Paris, and Copenhagen. One of my favorite things to do on any trip is sit out at a cafe or bar and watch the world go by and observe what everyone is wearing. Instagram of course has plenty of inspiration, but it can also be an echo-chamber of everyone dressing the same which I try to avoid. More recently I’ve been loving Pinterest for styling ideas.
What are your packing must-haves?
Packing cubes first and foremost for organization, as well as air tags for all of my bags. I plan all of my outfits in advance to make sure I’m only bringing what I need, but I almost always have a black slip dress and white t-shirt/button down regardless of the destination because these are foolproof items. A dual-voltage travel steamer and wrinkle release spray (for when I can’t be bothered to steam) also come with me on every trip.
What is your favorite souvenir from a trip?
My most-used item is probably my Murano water glasses— they spark joy. I’m also always on the lookout for unique art while traveling, so I have a few special pieces I’ve found over the years.
